Roundup for Safety supports community with $10,810 in grant funding
On May 2, Flathead Electric Cooperative’s Roundup for Safety Board awarded $10,810 in community safety funding towards four grants proposed by area nonprofits. The Skola, a nonprofit, independent school in Whitefish currently serving preschool through 4th grade students, requested $2,570 towards Wilderness Aid (WFA) and Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training for 12 staff members. Congratulations to our 2023 Ribeye Raffle winners, Ron & Marilyn Miller of Kalispell and Chris Ruby of Kalispell. Thank you to all our members who participated in this year’s Ribeye Raffle. Seven local food banks will share in over $18,000 in cash raised and over 1,000 pounds of meat donated.
