Certain activities or upgrades to your electric service require not only a significant amount of power but also a significant amount of power at a constant rate. We call these “High Density Loads.” Examples may include agricultural grow operations, data centers, and cryptocurrency mining. These types of use may fall into the category of high-density loads. These loads typically require large energy consumption at a constant rate.
Prospective high-density loads are subject to the following line extension policies and fee schedules:
- Administrative Policy E&O 335 – Line Extension (PDF)
- Administrative Policy E&O 336 – Industrial Line Extension (PDF)
- FEE01 – General Service Fees (PDF)
